Promotional Merchandise Decoration Options | Easy Promo

As print methods and technology surrounding us is rapidly progressing...Promotional Merchandise can be decorated in many different ways. The options are almost endless for your next branded giveaway item.

On easypromo.com.au you will see a drop down, with available decoration methods for your chosen product, on each product page. This allows us to show extensive pricing options to ensure you are getting the most accurate price from the very beginning.

We've taken the time to outline the most popular choices below to make your decision easier when requesting an Instant Quote.

1, 2, 3 and 4 Solid Colour Prints

Most products have a 1 Solid Colour Print decoration option and in most cases, this will be your most cost effective decoration. It means we use one ink colour to decorate the product and the way in which it is printed doesn't allow for any shading, gradients or half tones in your design. The same goes for options following this; such as 2, 3 or 4 Solid Colour Print options. If your logo has gradients or an array of colours, we always recommend one of our Full Colour Print options which are shown below. This isn't available on all products though, so if you require this, give us a call to find out what we can do for you.

Rotary Print

This method is available in 1 Solid Colour Print and Full Colour Print on some of our products and is used as a method to print on curved surfaces such as bottles, cups and glassware. Not all products allow for this large print area but where possible we always recommend this over a standard 1 Solid Colour Print or Full Colour Print. Look for the word Rotary in the decoration option of each product page and if not available, give us a call and we can recommend products that have this decoration method as an available option.

Debossed

Commonly referred to as ‘Blind’ debossing or embossing. A heated custom metal plate is pressed firmly onto the product leaving an impression of your logo in the material. This is often perceived as a higher value decoration with a classy two tone finish. No print or ink is used in this decoration and imprints are left in the product for long lasting effect.

Embroidery

Embroidery is an excellent way of branding most bags, clothing, caps and other textile products. It offers higher perceived value and is stitched into the product so will have a slightly raised effect. Small detail doesn't work well with embroidery and as more innovative ideas start to emerge, embroidery is not as popular as it used to be!

Laser Engraved

This is a permanent decoration process that uses laser technology to etch your design into a metal, wooden or leather product. This is really popular on frequently used products such as pens and keyrings to avoid the print chipping or fading over time. Different materials produce different finishes and colour variations, so if this is a critical component of your campaign, please ask.

Full Colour Sublimation

Dye sublimation print is used for branding products that have a special coating on them, or fabrics suitable for the sublimation process. A transfer is produced by printing sublimation ink onto transfer paper and then heat pressing it onto the product. The options with design on products that offer Full Colour Sublimation are almost endless as they allow for full colour logos and images to be printed. Smaller detail can fill in though, so be careful with your design.

Full Colour Label

Some products are either not able to be printed directly or a digital adhesive label is offered as a cost effective alternative on low cost items such as confectionery and other gift packaging. In most cases these labels are printed in bulk, peeled and hand applied by our factory staff. Some movement is possible when applying these labels to products and this would be considered acceptable when ordering a budget decoration option.

Full Colour Print

Direct digital printing involves the transfer of ink directly from the print heads of an inkjet machine to the product and can be used to produce both full colour and closely matched spot colour branding on flat or slightly curved surfaces. As you can see from the example above this allows for endless colours and shades/gradients, so great for most logos that have an array of colours.

Full Colour Printed PU Patch

This is a new branding option that is only available on select products such as caps, backpacks and cooler bags. Offering high detail logos with a matte or gloss finish that are full colour printed on a faux leather patch of your choice and attached with embroidery for a quality final product.

Full Colour Sublimated Patch

Starting with a clean white patch, your design is sublimated onto a custom shape patch. This is then finished with an embroidered edge to fix this to your chosen product for a very high end finish. Great for backpacks, caps and apparel where fine details isn't suited to embroidery.

Engraved Suede Patch

Choose from an array of suede patch colours that can be custom cut and laser etched to burn your logo into the patch. This is then embroidered with matching stitch colour to finish it off. For a retail style finish on apparel and caps, this is a must have for modern branded giveaway item.

Epoxy Coated Full Colour

This full colour branding process is produced by printing artwork onto a vinyl material with strong adhesive on the reverse. The branded area is then coated with a crystal-clear resin finish. Once dry, the finished decal is applied to the product and the adhesive forms an almost permanent bond. The finished product is glossy and smooth to touch. This gives a very luxurious finish to items such as the keyrings above.
